Wy don't Arrow contact Margheriti's son Edoardo? He's on Facebook. He worked on most of these films and could confirm if it was staged or not.

That's an excellent idea.

Who Dares Wins out next January! (according to new amazon email)

The Commander I can live without - but when's the release of The Wild Geese now? I can't wait to see an anamorphic widescreen print of Codename!

They have got to be kidding! I think that might just be a placeholder date, until a new official date can be sorted. If it is true, I say to hell with The commander!

Well this is no surprise to me. I think it is about time the BBFC were decommissioned. The BBFC are a money making scheme, nothing more. I thought we lived in a democracy? Who says some middle class psychologist, who has no experience of life, can tell me what I can, and can't watch!

Do the BBFC think that people won't manage to find copy's of films that they deem unfit to watch? Film censorship is wrong, the cinema is art, and who are the they to remove images from an artist's vision. It's about time the BBFC got realistic!

Exactly. They're not even a government body, they're a private company, which is why local councils can easily overturn they're decisions with regard to screening an uncut version of a film the BBFC have cut (or even banned). They contradict themselves with there reasons for cutting one film and not another all the time. Sure, they should still be here to classify films, but to cut films, and tell me, as an adult, what I can and can't watch, while they (as our betters), can handle seeing all the stuff they cut, well, it's just not on. Oh wow, 2 cocks sqwaking and flapping their wings a bit! It's vile and needs to be cut. Get a grip BBFC!

Well we need some kind of unrated system in the UK. Lets be honest, the people who are going to purchase these sorts of films are all going to be in there 30's or older. The BBFC should realise this. Is some 18 year old really going to buy The Commander? No way, he is going to be buying some Hollywood Blockbuster like Fast and Furious 10, or whatever other garbage Hollywood are churning out these days. Lets hope Arrow fight this decision. The BBFC might as well cut the ending of Apocalypse Now, a real animal being slaughtered on screen for entertainment purposes, well what's the difference? I mean it was staged, I've seen Hearts of Darkness. Oh wait, they ate the animal afterwards, so that makes it O.K.

It could be a good thing these films are delayed, I'm sure it will only better the quality of the prints and extra features. I do hope Arrow decide to release Code Name: Wild Geese and The Commander on Blu Ray, rather than DVD. May be Arrow could get Lewis Collins to provide some commentary for all three of the films to be released, now that would be worth the wait.

How about more Antonio Margheriti added to the collection, The Last Hunter and Commando Leopard are crying out for a High Definition release. Well I can only hope.
