I wondered if there's any news on the state of Codename yet? I think it's going to be in standard def, but is it a widescreen print and uncut? I've preordered Who Dares Wins, but won't buy WG if Codename is 4:3!

Has anyone else got Commando Leopard? That jumbo plane crash/explosion is a fantastic model, even puts Die Hard 2 to shame!

Yeah, the plane crash is superb. Not really a fan of COMMANDO LEOPARD though, I consider it to be the weakest of the Margheriti/Collins trilogy.

This just in from Arrow re: the delays to The Wild Geese (and Who Dares Wins):

Quote:
Delays have been caused to THE WILD GEESE as we ensure we get the best masters available so we can present the longest versions available in widescreen. As soon as we can advise on a revised release date we will. We apologise for the continued delays to these releases but the Lewis Collins films have been quite problematic.
I've posted a separate item in the Who Dares Wins thread as their are additional issues with that title.

I've cancelled my order of THE WILD GEESE bd which was supposed to be released on July 30
Now its release date is January/February 2013!
Wish Arrow would make up their minds and sort somethings out until they start telling everyone about dates etc
TAKE YOUR TIME.....

Amazon ALWAYS put down mad release dates when they've not been informed of an exact date.

Arrow have just informed us that a new release date has been tentatively set for the 8th October.

Also, new sticker design!

8th October 2012?

Great news - now all I need to know is whether Codename is 2.35:1 anamorphic!

I've said this before, but I've only seen it in 4:3, so a widescreen print would be nice.
