BBFC's decision, it's bad new's for me.
Title « British Board of Film Classification
I honestly thought it could easily have passed for a 15. Ah well, at least it's not going OOP any time soon!

Just order it online or get someone to buy it for you. I used to get my sisters to pay for these things for me and the embarrassed look on their faces was priceless. Even funnier once when the guy behind the till tried to start a conversation with one of them about zombie films.

It's more to do with my parents. They don't like my buying 'Age inapropriate' movies. I had to convince then for week's that frankenhooker was actualy a very funny film and that the nudity was very limited.
It's frustrating, but hopefully they'll out grow it and give up.

That must be hell. I was lucky in that my Dad is a big horror fan and let me watch 18 rated horror films from a very early age. My Mum hates horror but she never had a problem with me watching them.

Here here, I feel for you young Hawkmonger, I was lucky enough to have the kind of dad who liked to make beer money by hiring out pirated video nasties back in the 80's and although my mum was never a fan she didn't mind too much. There are much worse things for you in the real world without worrying what's playing on the screen...

My parents have no problem with gore whatsoever, as I even sat down and watched The Beyond my dad. But nudity and sex doesn't go down well. My parents were angry when they found out I'd seen American Pie, and my dad walked in on Forbidden Zone last night in a scene with the princess, and jokingly referred to it as "porn".

I always find that approach very odd. Nudity and sex are normal parts of life and nothing to be ashamed of. You'd think violence would be more of an issue

Same here. Until some movies I ordered (among them "Hellboy II") got confiscated by German customs and they literally told my parents that I'm on the same level as a child molester, rapist or mass murderer. F*** the police.
skankenstoned and Hawkmonger like this.

Yes indeed, people can have some very strange reactions to what is essentialy ENTERTAINMENT. While there are people out there who struggle with what is real and what isn't then this problem will continue. My parents may have been cool enough to allow me to form my own opinion as I grew up but as recently as last year my partner of 10 years came very close to binning my cult/grindhouse/horror dvds mainly based on the cover art and stills shown on the back, apparently my watching films that feature scenes of sustained violence makes me a very bad man! I still haven't managed to convince her, she's just given up complaining as long as I don't sit down to watch these movies with her around.
