I'll be getting the steelbook although I would have preferred to have the films on their on separate discs.

Arrow have just informed us how exactly this release will look. So..

"The Snowblood Dual Format Edition is now 3 discs and the SteelBook is now Blu-ray only.


The films will be split one film per Blu-ray and the DVD will have both films on one disc. We decided against putting both films on one Blu-ray as the encode would not have been good enough, in order to get a top notch encode we had to split the films. We will update with full details of the discs soon!"

A good move in my opinion I can't wait to get this in my hands, not seen either of the films and I'm going to hold off until the HD version.

Although it is making me want to watch Shogun Assassin again!

Just let me see if I have this right;
Dual Format: 3 Disk's;
Disk 1: BD Lady Snowblood
Disk 2: BD Lady Snowblood 2
Disk 3: DVD of both films.

BD Steelbook:
Disk 1: BD Lady Snowblood
Disk 2: BD Lady Snowblood 2

Have I got this right?
Great new's if it's true. Making me consider getting the dual format edition over the steelbook though.
