I can see this being a super worldwide seller but I feel it will be region locked due to the BU release .. but then again that is R0 .. so who knows!??

I expect Arrow will pull out the stops for what I guess will be their biggest release to date!

A real kick in the teeth to all behind the scenes who were trying to keep this one quiet. It would have been a real surprise, as I was beginning to think this would never happen.

Having said that, really looking forward to it

Nope: The Beyond, for me.

If it wasn't for the snowstorm, it would have been Tenebrae.

Hi,

New to the forum, and vey happy about this.....despite having loads of versions of this already, I'll definately be getting Arrow's release (hopefully with the usual plethora of extras it comes with), will look great next to The Beyond, House By The Cemetery and City of the Living Dead in lovely white boxes. Am guessing a boxset of all 4 will be released, thus making the "Gates of Hell" trilogy redundant? Have always seen these 4 as Fulci's "Zombie Quartet" (probably because I saw them together when I was younger & thus just associate them with eachother) rather than seeing the other 3 as a trilogy.

Thus far, I own the following versions of ZFE...

Vipco VHS (UK cut print)
Vipco VHS (Euro "Strong Uncut Version" from Vipco...from Holland)
Anchor Bay Uk release (as part of "Box of the Banned")
Anchor Bay US release (as "Zombie")
Japan Shock release (as "Zombie 2") including soundtrack on the DVD
Vipco release as part of the "ZFE Trilogy" ()
Media Blasters/Shriek Show 2-disc edition (region 1)
Blue Underground edition (my fave so far-best extras & transfer)

So my Arrow Blu Ray or DVD will be my 9th purchase of this classic....Eeep!

Mental, yes, but I'll dip numerous times for my faves (think I have more versions of Romero's "Dawn of the Dead" than ZFE! Lol!

Welcome Nostalgic! That's quite a collection you have there.
But nah, ZFE is completely un-related to the Gates of hell Trilogy.
There much different in tone to ZFE, plus we dont want to convolute the ZFE sequal saga any more, do we?

I wouldn't say Alan Jones is an idiot, he's probably just as excited about this release as everyone else and since I'm playing defender here, what's with all the Rick Melton bashing? I always flip my covers so I've never really given all the new art much thought but he's still a talented artist after all.
