Still no man with the severed head Well, FINALLY got the forms to send off to claim for my lieu pay due to short notice on my redundancy. The redundancy money paid off all my overdraft and debts and the lump sum from this should let me pay off a bunch of utility bills in advance with enough left over to pre-order/order a lot of arrows forthcoming titles, pay for them now and not have to worry for a while about paying for discs. After the xmas debacle and the ZFE 6 seconds I may be considered mad but arrow redeemed themselves with the Bava discs. Now dilemma time. 1.Position at screwfix. Don't think I got the job as I got a 'vibe' in the interview that I wasn't what they were looking for. Could be wrong. PROS:Full time. CONS:weird hours and know nothing about what their selling. 2.Position at greggs. Got a much better 'vibe' in this interview. Find out next week if I have it. PROS: Good future prospects, easy enough work, know the product. CONS: 16hours contract so reliant on overtime, commute means 4am starts. 3. NATWEST. Interview on 26th, only 17.5 hours per week and £7 a day 2-hour commute, but prospects of real career if I can do well in the role. Will probably have to work part time for about 18 months- 2 years before I can look at progressing. In the meantime will rely on AMAZON sales to make up the difference. PROS: Great future career prospects, CONS pretty much poverty until i'm 35. 4.B&M bargains. Fairly dead end but can start immediately 20hour contract (best i've been offered outside of screwfix) and plenty more overtime available. Pros Easy job, will get it with little problem. Cons. To cover maternity so possibly out on my ear unless another person quits and I move into their job! 5. College. Works well with part time positions, (aside from greggs which I know will monopolise my time and B+M bargains) change my skills and move out of retail altogether. Perhaps try web design/book keeping/adult social care or some other 'out the box' idea to change my career. 6.Make a film. Easier said than done, but we have a local lottery funded film and art studio that does a lot of specialist digital film making ect.. Perhaps knock out a short and simple script for an eight minute short and see if theres any chance of getting mentoring/assistance. Like college its easier to do If I have a part time job, but offeres little career progression. Won't make a red-cent doing it so it'll be for love. Always wanted to do something creative at some point. 7. self employed. Take my amazon store, which exists purely to fund my blu-ray dvd addiction and try and make it a small business. The job centre can help with this. Pros: my own boss Cons:Not much money, physical media is dying out, hassle of filing tax and national insurance.. 8. E-trader for AGEUK. Lime natwest its a 2hour £7 a day commute, 21 hour contract. Not even got an interview yet but its something I can do. qustion is, is it really a future career or something for people looking for part time work? PHEW! Basically these are my options as they stand right now. |

For those who recently bought their Zombie Flesh Eaters Blu-ray and want to know whether they have the correct disc or not (some people are too lazy to fast-forward to the scene - I know all about it...) - simply check the code on the disc, just below the title "Zombie Flesh Eaters" and "Disc 1": Correct Blu-ray: FCD704/A Faulty Blu-ray: FCD704B/A Greetings! |

My replacement disc landed yesterday, going to give it a spin tonight. Have only ever seen the -6 seconds version, so keen to see the difference. For all the long time fans of the film - is it now the best edition available? |

Believe me, you're not going to be blown away by the additional six seconds of boat footage.I do think though, that together with the Blue Undergound BD release, the corrected Arrow Blu is the best edition currently available.

Not expecting to be blown away, should make for a smoother transition from the title though! Good excuse to watch it again |

Exactly. The film is now the way the director intended. I think Arrow's is now the definitive presentation of the film.
