Anyone know what lab in Rome is handling the transfer? I really hope it's the same guys who did the two Demons films, they looked phenomenal IMO.

Would really like to order the limited slipcase version but my confidence is not high with Arrow in regards PQ. Even though it's a fresh scan, still apprehensive.

If it is done by the same people that did the DEMONS scan we should be very excited as that one exceeded my expectations completely in terms of PQ, it was very impressive. Really I think Arrow have put out just one substandard video presentation on blu ray(Tenebrae) and unfortunately that seems to stick in people's minds.

Very much agree. I think the problem is that some of the releases have not been quite as good as other releases of the same film. To be fair, it's the encoding that has let down a few of the films which is falling at the final hurdle. House by the Cemetery should have been sent back for a re-encode in my opinion.

Waiting with ordering this until we get confirmation that it was done at Cineteca Bologna, who did "Demons", or if it´s those monkeys at LVR (who did the DNR plagued mess on the BU disc) who is behind this one as well.

And don´t forget to keep the bitrate high, Arrow.

If this one lacks the LVR video noise, DNR and compression artifacting, then it will be the ultimate BD release ever

I agree with this too. Can't say I've been disappointed with an Arrow BD yet - although admittedly I haven't picked up the ones people seem to complain about.

But yes, the presentation of the two Demons films was flawless IMO. They looked terrific. Let's hope ZFE is on a par with those transfers.

No, I haven't. Like I say, I haven't picked up any of the ones that people complain about. But the Arrow BDs I do have I'm very pleased with.

I've had this for ages and still haven't watched it, only the extras. Is it really that bad?
