I've always loved this frikken' movie. There's just no way this scene would be shot the same nowadays. That stunt double had some guts. Even though that shark was well fed and doped you could see he was still getting mighty irritated. My last wife was well fed too but she still managed to wang a pot of spaghetti off my head once a month! Mind you, she'd have shredded that shark too!

As far as I'm aware the shark's trainer did the scene, after (Unsurprisingly) the actor due to play the zombie, was sick on the day of filming.

That's one of those story's you have to take with a pinch of salt.
Funny to think about though, I work with shark's (sort of) and even I wouldn't want to wrestle one.

No seirous, I work as a Diving Instructers assistent (learning to instruct myself) and we recently arrived back from Cornwall after diving with Basking Sharks.
None aggressive beast's thankfuly.
