The most convincing idea i've read is that they snipped it by accident and didn't notice, it makes the most sense.

call me sad,but i really love the opening shot of the boat floating past the nyc skyline,all my other versions have this shot,but i still love the arrow blu ray...also got my first steelbook for chrimbo demons 1&2 cheers my sons

The time counter stays the same. It is quite an abrupt ending to the credit sequence as there is no 'whoosh' of the boat as it comes in to frame.

It's very abrupt. The music cuts off abruptly as well since it's missing those seconds. On the BU release it fades away as the boat moves across the screen. Here's a little video I made. BU first, then Arrow (excuse the xmas tree reflected in the screen!).

That seems very clumsy indeed! Even from Stephen's short clip you can tell the shot pacing is off.

Has to be a cock up, surely?

Just kicking a few ideas around and with this being sourced (i think) from a diiferent print than the BU version maybe the source was better but missing a bit of footage or it was badly damaged?

Just checked my SS DVD and its not missing the 6 seconds, gonna check my Italian Shock DVD, which has the Zombi 2 title and see if its missing there

Edit: Nope, seems like just the Arrow one
