I can recommend the Death Waltz soundtrack LP. Don't have to get involved in any of that daft picture business Hmm. Might go back and check that first track doesn't cut off 6 seconds before the end actually

Still, would rather it be all there than not!
That's a really good point and probably the reason the sound jar doesn't really bother me. Use to be the norm when a soundtrack would build to a crescendo then vanish abruptly. Ah, the days of dodgy bootleg uncut VHS.

Ha ha yeah, I have the soundtrack on the Italian Shock DVD, usually only listen to the main themes

You can watch those seconds on some other release if you want to but you was never able to watch the film on BD without digital manipulations until Arrow got this released.

Remember: "grain or death". 6 sec will never change that

Seriously, it is. I'll stick with Blue Underground's blu-ray. My moto refers to something like the Predator fiasco. It's more Arrow's "you're talking shit, it's not 6 seconds, oh it is but we've already spent so much on this release that we won't spend any more to fix it" attitude, I have a problem with. It's one screw-up too many for me. I'm done with them. They've lost a customer who's bought every release until now. No more. And no attending screenings organized by them. Finito! .

Re-reading the last few page's of this thread (soon to be re-titled 'Stephens bitching thread') I have reflected on the issue at hand. On the one hand, i'm grateful it's not a key scene that has been effected, no matter how nice the cinematography. Yet I DO agree with Stephen that this is certainly an issue that need's to be addressed for moral sake, that the movie should be seen as the director intended. Though the scene isn't vital enough for me to go OTT on, it is a problem.
