I had a great time and, because I couldn't get to see Calum's Slice and Dice documentary, I spent about an hour and a half with him, Fabio Frizzi and Mrs Frizzi in the cafe. Fabio is a great guy – really easy to talk to, funny and a real gentleman.

The new encoding of Zombie Flesh Eaters looked superb and the soundtrack was really clear. It was brilliant to watch it in a packed house with everyone laughing at the unintentionally funny dialogue, bizarre plot points and some of the more wooden acting.

If there is another similar screening of an upcoming title, I'll definitely be there knowing it is logistically feasible and such a great event.

Many thanks to Calum for, at the very least, helping to put the whole thing together and to Fabio Frizzi for a brilliant Q&A session which will be well worth watching on the upcoming DVD/BD.
