Arrow is a business at the end of the day and this isn't the best business decision. Troma was a mis-step. Hardcore Troma fans are getting there DVDs from Troma( they actually put together a pretty good package for there films)

I'm not downing the announcements because it's fun and I'm definitely not trolling I actually want the company around and doing well for a long time. Have you actually seen the two 'C' list Italian titles or are dismissing them just because they're not well known?

Yes men infuriate me because they champion everything done by the company and that's never healthy.

This wasn't a total loss for people who don't have ZFE that's going to be a good seller. Many n that list are things they need to hope people will pick up for cheap during a Sale.
THEY LIVE and TERROR TRAIN are with another company here so there is no way Arrow could have got them.

No offence but with your posts it's like you think Arrow owe you something. Just because you don't like the announcements it doesn't mean no one else does either. Have you actually seen the two 'C' list Italian titles or are dismissing them just because they're not well known?

And I am actually looking forward to SUPERBITCH and NIGHT CHILD and not because I'm a 'Yes' man but because I LOVE Italian horror/exploitation.

I was making a comparision with a similar company. Just pointing out the differing in choices.

Actually whenever someone says no offense, it's usually just before they say something offensive, I'm not that thin skinned though...so no biggie.

I think Arrow owes themselves something, and it's something better than thy are doing. Lots of people loved the 29 different versions of Evil Dead but in the end it did crap for the company and BU pretty much came in and dominated there marketplace.

I'm glad you like the films but as someone else pointed out some of thm are already out and you have to admit they are not massive selling points.

As someone pointed out, Arrow are a business after all. Who knows what deal they have struck up to release some of these titles ... maybe Arrow got them for peanuts and are to make a big killing on them. Arrow know most if not all these titles are niche, so in no way are they going to throw huge risky money at these titles. I certainly don't think ZFE will be a cheap release for them though, so sometimes you have to take the rough with the smooth. Maybe the % Arrow make from the smaller titles will go some way to buying the release right to bigger titles a lot of us are waiting for.

I don't understand why any cult film fan wouldn't be pleased at a release of an obscure, almost lost, film like Super Bitch from a top class (and very under represented in the UK) director like Dallamano.

This is EXACTLY the kind of thing the labels represented on Cult Labs should be saving from obscurity, in my view.

It's the best news from Arrow's schedule for years.

Hear hear, more hidden gems, less overseen 'classics' . . .

It's a Shameless style release more than Arrow and not a great one.

Though Sargento makes some good points about the amount they probably spent to get this.

I still wonder if a bigger risk with better titles, Especially when we are looking at the Christmas sales period.

I don't get the relevance of this.

Who cares what label releases what so long as they are released?

If those are the correct titles:

Superbitch - never seen it, based on what I read it's a sure buy.
Nightchild - depends on the extras, as I own the italian DVD, which has a good print. I hope it does good, as it's the type of movies I want to see more on Arrow (and Shameless).
Christmas Evil - I don't think so....
ZFE - very likely the steelbook, but I guess I'll wait for some reviews first.
