These films aren't exactly The Wild Geese or Who Dares Wins, but I'd love to see Fabrizio De Angelis' (working under the psuedonym Larry Ludman, I've just found out) Thunder trilogy (starring Mark Gregory) come to Arrow dvd.

I've only seen 1 + 2 and I know they're just Rambo knock-offs but I loved watching them on VHS in the videostore 80s!

I haven't read all the responses to this thread, but they are three titles from the same director

So basically I'll be getting the 2 Bava's, Dead End Drive In, Django and Deadly Blessing.

That's sounds pretty good, as the savings will go towards getting Scream Factory titles once I get my region free player.

I'll be getting the Bava's, that's for sure.As I don't own any Bava films.
I'll also get Dead End Drive-In as I like Ozploitation and I've heard it's one of the better ones.

I used to have the old ABUS of Dead End Drive-In. It's basically a bunch of new wave punks forced to live within the confines of the local drive-in. Think a post-apocalyptic Breakfast Club and you wouldn't be far off.

It's a really great film, i re-watched it recently with the Brian Trenchard-Smith commentary which was really informative. Will defo get an Arrow release of this one. Does anyone know if it's only going to be DVD or blu-ray too because this would look stunning in HD.

I'm curious if the AIP cut of BLACK SUNDAY is from a print or if it's the same materials for the European version recut to match the audio track. Also, will the contrast and milky grays of the Kino release be the same or improved?

From Amazon...

Product Description
STARE INTO THESE EYES... discover deep within them the unspeakable terrifying secret of BLACK SUNDAY... it will paralyze you with fright!

Legendary Scream Queen Barbara Steele (Shivers, Caged Heat) stars in this classic slice of gothic terror from the father of fantastic Italian cinema Mario Bava (Lisa & the Devil).

A beautiful witch is sentenced to death for her evil deeds by her own brother, condemned to die by having a metal mask hammered onto her face before being burnt at the stake. As she passes, she puts a terrible curse on all her future descendants as the spikes of the death mask pierce her flesh... But when two unwitting travellers discover her final resting place and worse, drip blood on her resting corpse, they unleash her once again in all her stunningly beautiful, terrifying glory....

Banned in the UK on its release, Black Sunday is a groundbreaking film that opened the door for Spaghetti horror in all its gory glory.
