Re what I posted above, the Django on Arrowdrome will be £12, yet that very same dvd disc would be free as such if it was a dual format release, so I just don't get the logic.

Because, as already mentioned, Arrow probably save some money by putting both the BD and dvd versions in the same packaging, and with a dual format release being roughly the same price (usually) as a BD version on it's own. (Yes, I do know the dvd version would be a couple of pounds cheaper before anyone says), in the long run, everyone wins. Sure, someone might not need, or want the dvd version, but those who are dvd only at the moment, will save having to pay full price for the BD version later if they decide to go blu.

You're right, of course. I just wanted to have a whinge. I'm a whinging whining fanboy who worships Arrow, didn't you know?

I haven't read all posts but as Kino will be releasing Rabid Dogs on BD i hope Arrow do the same as there is a transfer available. It's so freakin' fun, intense and awesome!

Whining is good. I do it all the time and it feels great.

I like to buy the BD / DVD Dual format Ed plus at least one (2 depending on reverse art work) DVD single release('s) where possible as it keeps my collection tidy in an OCD ish kinda way.
With Canninal Holocaust being a single BD release I got 2 Blu and 2 DVD due to jacket art.
I'll stick with this system as it suits my needs brilliantly .
