You can always turn it around to the reverse artwork.

I quite like the Arrowdrome cover, red would be a better text colour though.

I'm not sure which of these I'll buy as I want to keep my ArrowDrome collection going, and Django is an excellent choice. I haven't seen any of the Metzger films, so will probably rent them before deciding whether to buy them or not. Although I have a multi-region Blu-ray player, I'm pleased to see the Bava titles being released on Region B discs, and with different extra features. All in all, it looks like a wonderfully eclectic selection from Arrow, with something there for everyone.

Cant wait for the Bava´s already ordered the limited releases from Arrows store. Hopefully this means that even more Bava is on its way, is Hatchet for the honeymoon still an anchorbay title?

I'd hazard s guess that if the material contravenes BBFC guidelines for an 18 it would be cut. I don't know too much about Metzger's films. Were these scenes added after the film finished shooting a proper? The reason I ask is that there are many Euro films that feature alternate cuts with hardcore inserts but they're not always what was originally intended and in many cases added by producers against the director's wishes. |

Camille 2000 and The Lickerish Quartet passed uncut '18' by the BBFC.

I know Metzger dabbled in XXX so it's likely they were shot for the film. Incidently CAMILLE 2000 and LICKERISH QUARTET went through uncut earlier today (CAMILLE did last time though so no surprise there) Title « British Board of Film Classification Title « British Board of Film Classification |
