Riding an early 70s wave of ever more liberal big screen morals, Score takes us to the imaginary city of Leisure, where an experienced couple are playing dangerous games of seduction on the swinging scene. They’re taking bets on who can screw who as they play fast and very loose with a newly married couple – Betsy and Eddie – two cute kids who are about to get their world turned upside down...


As the two couples dance around one another and the wine and pot begin to take hold, will the young and naive pair break their vows and succumb to the new morality of their hosts? I gather the BBFC are still looking at this one? The other two Metzger titles went through uncut last week but there's no sign of this yet.

Other than the art work and the booklet, isn't this the same as the Cult Epics release? If so, it's a good package over all.

Some news from Arrow Video has just come through regarding Score and the BBFC...

The BBFC really don't have a clue, do they? So what if there's a gay sex scene? if it's permissible for 18 year olds if they venture into a sex shop, surely it should be if they just venture into HMV...?

I actually find it quite wrong that a gay sex scene is so condemnable, that it counts as a porn, where as lesbian sex scenes are no problem.

I wonder if arrow could appeal through europe?

Its possibly discrimination if the bbfc are letting through 'straight' material but censoring gay sex.

Also if HMV ect are anything like where I work, you need to look 21 to get 18 cert material anyway. Besides I doubt teenagers will become hopelessly corrrupted by something like this.

Having not seen the film I have to ask is the scene itself hardcore in any way though? Or is it really the gay equivalent of scenes which would otherwise make it through unscathed?

It's hardcore featuring the two lead actors having very graphic, real sex.
