I had to stop watching the footage on Sky - it was too much, truly depressing... This morning I went to Amazon and picked up Arrow Blus of Dawn/Day of the Dead and the Shameless edition of Almost Human - really just to show my support (a tiny gesture in the scheme of things I know) for these great, hard working labels. Good luck to everyone involved, come back fast...

I've merged these threads as they're really about the same topic.

This was a very sad thing to happen but im sure Arrow and Shameless will get back on their feet in no time.

Sucks that Arrowdome will be delayed but we can blame the rioters for that!

I could see the smoke from the warehouse fire, from my Holborn office yesterday. I had no idea it had impacted on Arrow and Shameless stock. So sorry to hear that. I've been watching the "riot" footage and like most reasonable people, enraged that some take it so lightly as if it was a new game to play on their iPhones.
I just hope that this doesn't hit the indies hard in the pocket.

Arrow have displayed once again to be a consistently reliable and communicative company. Thanks!

Terrible to hear about the Sony warehouse fire and all the other damage caused by these arseholes. I'm hoping all labels aren't too badly affected.

In the meantime I guess we will continue to support their existing titles and look forward to buying their new releases when they're up and running again.

Was sorry to hear about this happening a terrible loss for everyone.

If sony need a new warehouse now though we've got a nice brand new 29,000 Sqm one going to waste near where I live

And we haven't had any rioting, yet.

Sad news, but the best way to support Arrow et al is to purchase some back catalogue films. To that end I have started by just ordering the fabulous Island of Death.

Hope your distribution gets up and running as soon as you hope.

I'm guessing all orders through the Arrow website will be delayed until things are sorted?

Not that I'm moaning, I just can't wait for my copy of Street Trash & Island of Death!

Hope Arrow and Shameless get all sorted and back to doing what they do best! I'll be buying as many films as my wage will allow!

*edit* just got confirmation of shipping. Sweeeeeet. Thanks Arrow! Was defiantly not expecting them this soon.

I did not even know there was anything wrong with the Beyond.

I pre-order bought the Blu-ray from HMV but with work never got round to watching it yet.

So am I correct to assume the opening credits are in black and white in the affected version?

*Edit* Just checked it and its Black and White

That's right, yes. See this thread for an illustration:
