It did flop, but at the same time it's generated a lot of interest in those old Grindhouse flicks.

Yeah, very true. There certainly seemed to be a sudden influx of box sets full of old exploitation movies bearing the word 'Grindhouse', especially in the US from those 'Public Domain' DVD companies.

I never read synopsis' before I watch a film, they're full of spoilers.

I meant what's it got to do with it being a longer version.

In response to your question, it doesn't have anything to do with it. I just felt that it sounded better than "Director's Cut" or something like that.

If it has to refer to length only then perhaps "THE FINAL CUT" or "THE FINISHED ARTICLE" or something like that.

Question Baba Yaga - Your Questions!

We're hard at work on the upcoming Baba Yaga DVD and some of the key extras are getting shot 20th November in Italy.

We're (well not me - I'll be in London ) going to be doing an interview with the director - Corrado Farina and we'd like you guys to have a chance to ask some of the questions.

So - here's your chance to submit questions for Corrado to answer. We can't guarantee they'll all be used or that similar ones won't be merged but as we continue in our quest to have fans drive the label we thought this was a good opportunity.

Do spread the word around other forums (although the questions will need to find their way back to here in some shape or form) and we'll need all questions in by Monday 17th November.

In general the questions should be about Baba Yaga but if you have other topics then do include them and if there is the time (and indeed space on the DVD) hopefully we'll be able to use them.

So... what would you like to ask Corrado Farina?

"What's your opinion on the Shameless release compared to the earlier Blue Underground one? Where do you think Shameless has improved from that?"
