Absolutely incredible film!! I feel privileged to have been able to see it restored to its original glory, really i cannot say enough good things about this piece of cinema. I would also like to apologise for my awful spelling, especially in the other thread where I spelt it 'Baba Gaga'. I feel a bit stupid and need to check my post's a bit better.. |

This week I double-dipped on Baba Yaga and bought the Shameless release despite already having the fine Blue Underground release. A number of independent reviews and the forum convinced me the extra features are worthwhile. (Oh yeah, the quality of the other Shameless disks I've bought biased me towards the purchase as well.) It's winging it's way to the US as we speak. I'm excited !!! |

Well it'll be good to hear your thoughts on how you find the film after Farina's work on it. |

I enjoyed this! Do think Carroll Baker was miscast though......... http://midnightspecialfttf.blogspot....ie-killer.html And since the image didn't make it into my review I'm gonna mention it here. Is it just me or does this doll look eerily like Leelee Sobieski? |

The doll should look like the lovely Ely Galleani. I was thrilled with the director's cut and the Italian audio being included but was a bit disappointed about the audio on the disc as the trailer had the theme sounding fantastic (probably lifted from a cd release). It was only a minor quibble though. |
