Quote:Good to see you back Slicer.
Is HBTC the same version as Arrows.?
Can anyone recomend A Blade in the Dark.?
Connerstone are putting out some good films, I think i'll see if they have a website to see all they're titles as it would help me fill in a few gaps in my collection.
Another top blogg from the Bitch.
Yep, top stuuf bitch!
Cornerstone are using the old vipco transfers. Blade in the Dark was one of their better ones and IS 16X9!!Posted 5th January 2010 at 01:16 PM by Pete -

Definitely! It's superb, Castellari's finest work and my all time fave spag western.
Awful soundtrack though
The uk dvd has been cut by 4 seconds (cruel horsefall, which is in the trailer (from a different angle than the film) at 3:02) but that shouldn't put you off buying the argent disc, which has a nice interview with Enzo
The older Argent release came with a bonus film Texas Addios which looks like it has been dropped from this edition. Your not missing much though.Posted 4th January 2010 at 01:04 AM by Pete -

That Spanish one sounds good and it would be nice to get House of Sweet Terror as I got Clocks on VIPCO.

House of Clocks is ok but i thought the others were crap. The Vipco box can be picked up quite cheaply. Good transfers too (I assume these new releases will be the same)Posted 4th December 2009 at 04:28 PM by Pete -

Yeah I used to have Murder in a Blue World... pegged as the 'Spanish Clockwork Orange'
Sweet House of Horrors is one of four 'House' movies which (I think) were originally intended for Italian TV. Two were directed by Fulci (House of Clocks, Sweet House of Horrors) and two by Lenzi (House of Witchcraft, House of Lost Souls) All are pretty good films but Vipco have already released these.
Great blog again BTW BS.Posted 4th December 2009 at 08:32 AM by bizarre_eye@Cult Labs

Excellent blog once again BS
Murder in a Blue World was released on video in the 80's as 'A Clockwork Terror'. I had the old UK dvd and thought it was boring.Posted 4th December 2009 at 12:22 AM by Pete -
