The film Pink Flamingos is a 1972 cult film by John Waters.
I am studying the film for my A2 film studies course and I wanted to get people's ideas on it.

My hypothesis is:
Controversy For Controversies' Sake:
Are John Waters' films there to simply shock or do they have more to say?

What do people think? Focusing on Pink Flamingos, who thinks that Waters wants to simply shock, or who thinks he has more to say?
