I Know What I'll Do Next Summer...

If nothing goes awfully wrong, I'll be probably starting to write another radio play for a friend and producer/director in Germany during the summer time.
The only thing, which is still open to me is whether it'll be a darkly humouruos tale about a female assassin and her kid sister OR a very grim audio version of a snowy "Revenge"-Spaghetti Western audio style!
I plan on taking you through the whole process, the character build up, the writing of pitches, treatments and other thoughts on the writing process....
BTW: There are only 2 radio plays I wrote, which actually managed it as far as a proper release and entry on amazon.de, with 3 (!) radio plays semi-finished and still waiting to reach the ears of the public.
Anyway, here's a link to amazon.de and my crime-comedy series "Detektei Bates":
http://www.amazon.de/s/ref=nb_ss_w?_...Bates&x=7&y=12
Here are some scenes from "Detektei Bates" for your hearing pleasure:

She's had a smaller role in one of the "Dtektei Bates" radio plays and has done a lot of theatre, an actress with a very wide range....but I'll talk a bit more about the casting of proper voices in the very near future...Posted 17th April 2009 at 05:43 PM by Peter Neal - I'd go for the female assassin idea as well. There's great potential for some one-liners, witty retorts, ironic situations, some pathos - it's all in there.
The snowy spag western makes me think of Sukiyaki Western Django which never gelled for me and really only appealed I think to people who liked the Django references. Too many people don't know spag westerns which could lead to a lot of dialogue going on explanation.
Anyway whatever you do write I can't wait to come along for the ride and see how you get on.
Anyone else who feels the same make sure you take a look at the options panel - you can subscribe to any blog to get e-mail updates when there's something new to read and/or subscribe to the RSS feed.Posted 17th April 2009 at 07:54 PM by Almar@Cult Labs -
