Cannibal Holocaust - Numerous Editions

I have been very curious about this film because of two reasons - 1) it's a video nasty and I'm curious to see why they banned it and the number 2) is I want to see if it's as bad as they say it is.

I first saw this film in a rental shop called Global and it was by the label Vipco's Vaults Of Horror and what drew me to it was the font of the title, the tagline of: THE FILM THEY DID NOT WANT YOU TO SEE and a nice red X with the words PREVIOUSLY BANNED and finally the row of skulls across the top.

I didn't buy it of course because it was just to rent. Then I forgot about it until a fw years later when I heard someone in the street talk about it.

I heard that the Vipco version was cut to shreads and wasn't worth bothering with. At the time I thought I had no hope because I didn't have the internet and I didn't see myself getting one in the near future.

Obviously now I have the internet and saw how many editions there was. So now I'm stuck because I don't know which edition to get and if the edition I finally do get will be uncut.
