I had never heard of this film but had seen the pictures of a bald headed man with pointed ears and long finger nails and was curious and I had began watching Killing Zoe and it was on that film as he was .... a woman.

I then asked my friend what it was called and he said Nosferatu and that it was silent which I didn't know about and I thought well its old so i'll never get to see it as there won't be a DVD out of it.

I then went to HMV and saw a copy of it at 60 mins (at the time I didn't know there was a longer 93 min version of it) so I bought it and watched it. I proper enjoyed it and when I saw a 2 disc 93 min version of the film. I bought it and thats the version I have now.

I've seen a Masters Of Cinema version of it and i've heard thats THE version to buy so i'm going to get it.

very good film, Werner Herzog remade it in 1979, it's also referenced in The Fast Show.
