Well now it's 2011 and hopefully there will be some decent horror films out this year.

We already know Arrow have an impressive line up of horror gems from the past already kicking off with DEEP RED.

Last year we were swamped by gay vampires in the TWILIGHT films and then on it seemed every book was vampire based.

Anyway I am looking forward to the DVD release of A SERBIAN FILM (even if it is cut) and ordering other films such as the EC Entertainment editions of A BLADE IN THE DARK, CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD and finally THE BEYOND.

Talking about THE BEYOND and CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD, last yr I bought the Arrow Edition of CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD which is just excellent in content.

The Beyond I will be ordering the Arrow Edition of that too.

Yesterday my Cannibal Holocaust came so I will be enjoying my first ever viewing of that in the new yr.

So hopefully this yr will bring a better selection of horror that isn't based on gay vampires.
