Introduction to me as a Wrestler

My name is Edward Harris. This blog will follow my quest to make a career out of professional wrestling. As a kid, I jumped between wanting to be a magician, an actor, an athlete, a comedian and an artist. At age 8, I discovered professional wrestling and discovered I can be all 5. While I was at school I couldn’t entertain people in wrestling matches so I took a video camera and did whatever else I could think of. This currently amounts to 300 hours of videos ranging from sleeping in bedshops to visiting a gun maniac at 3am. In 2002 I began wrestling and have even lived in America as part of my journey.
This journey will not be easy- far from it. Most people understandably abandon any dreams they have, if they act on them at all. So far, I have been different, but have also taken the necessary time to become devoted to my marriage and home life. Days turn into weeks and weeks turn into months, and as I write, I am 24 years old and overweight, having not pursued wrestling for years. This would be the time most people give up.
I have done enough to know certain things. One, is to not be daunted by the bigger picture- people give up because they envision them wrestling on television as completely unfeasible. But a 500 mile race begins with one step. My first step is to lose weight by running, which starts today.
