I woke up this morning and decided to do something with my life. This 'something' is writing a blog. Just so you people know I have never written a blog before, so I don't have a bloody clue what I'm doning. Which also means it'll contain more mistakes than Adam Sandler's career.

Before I start, I just thought I'd tell you a bit about myself, for those who have never spoken to me on the forum or my Facebook page (I you want to add me to FB, please sent me a p.m). I'm Marc, I live in the 'City of Discovery', that is Dundee, Scotland. I love films (anything from silent era - early 00's), music (anything from sixty's rock - modern Scandanavian Black and Death Metal), computer games (anything except sport games). I also attempt to play guitar and bass.

I just realise that I haven't told you guys what my blog will be about. What else on a cult film site? Film reviews!!!!! I have never written a review in my life, so perhaps none of this'll make any sense. I got the idea after reading a few blogs on video nasties and I thought to myself 'I can do that!'. I don't know how much detail these reviews will go into. I don know anything a out lighting, cinematography etc. so I'll be staying away from technical aspects like that. I'll mostly just ramble on about my enjoyment (or perhaps lack of, depending on which film I watch) of the film, acting etc.

Anyways I'll wind this up now. I hope you enjoy what's to come! My first review will come in my next blog.

Coming in my next blog: Duel review

We look forward to it Marc, and don't worry about the writing, or the mistakes, or the lack of technical specs. Write it like we're in the room with you. Write from the heart (that was very Dead Poet's Soceity, wasn't it ?)

Hello Marc, I think Wes is right, my favourite reviews on the forum are those which tell me more about the writer than the films. Anyone can write a review but few show themselves in the review.

Indeed, not trying to showboat but just take a look at some of mine on the Cult Labs Members Reviews thread. not strictly useful are they? In a technical sense anyhow. It's the passion for the subject we care about here I find.
