I've been diagnosed with swine flu

I've been ill lately so here's a video from the archives. Also some of my thoughts...
I was asked how far I would like to take wrestling, if I would be happy in a small promotion. I would be happy in terms of the actual job, but it wouldn't make any business sense. You can't make a living anywhere other than WWE or TNA, and TNA's longevity remains to be seen. That means the goal is WWE, which would also be good creatively because there would be the benefit of a weekly audience which most small companies don't have. It's not the actual match that gives me creative satisfaction. It's building my character and the situations he's in- for which a weekly audience is necessary. The actual mathces are, in my view, second nature to character based work.

But to make it in the WWE I would have thought that you'd need to first make a name for yourself in these smaller promotions. The UK wrestling scene isn't great but it would be a good solid start!Posted 29th May 2009 at 12:40 PM by KPWNINJA
