Lest we not forget that Isrealis wouldn't really care about "international incidents" hem, hem.
As hamfisted (funny that ;)) as Cannon seem to be, you certainly can't say that they don't pull out all the stops.
But I digress. The real "journey" here is Steve James, as in the space of 3 films he becomes adept at the old kung fu from a standing start.
MD though. Is it the sliiiiight resemblance to a young Wings Hauser?? Or is he jist naturally glackit? As his "acting" breaks the mould for "underplaying" imo.
Sadly this is all cast aside for the 3rd film, which features David Bradley (NOT HIM FROM KES) as "The American Ninja". Meh. Ok, so he can fight way betterer than MD. But he resembles either the 3rd Hardy Boy or the singer from a Asia tribute band. Plus it has Marjoe Gortner as "The Cobra". Yeah, him from Starcrash. Unbalancing every part he plays due to his outlandish appearance, I wet myself with laughter every time he pops up on screen.
...and then I watched Samurai Cop (1991, Armin Shervan):lol:

I shall refrain from explaining why now the AN series deserves an Oscar imho.
