El Rocco

El Rocco is currently the best selling artist on the Peruvian Muscle-Funk scene.

He first came to prominence as the lead singer in the multi-platinum teen band "El Grupo Del Sexi Go!" in the mid 80s, when the group was formed by music biz chancer Dick Jesus. A ruthless shark, he forced his teen charges up the South American hit parades through a strict regime of payola and intimidation. El Rocco faced violent threats and blackmail, before making the brave decision to leave the band at the height of their fame.

As the bands biggest album "Stud Leather" hit the number one spot across South America, El Rocco was secretly working on a new style of music, one that would combine Teen pop, Psychedelic Latin sounds and rampant homoeroticism. The result was Muscle Funk, now the best selling genre of music throughout the Americas, having outsold Country, Hip Hop and Rock combined in 2007.

El Rocco, who revolutionized the music industry with his cross-media work, that combined film, TV, music, pastry products, cosmetics (Including the best selling El Rocco Soap-on-a-rope, personally moulded from the man himself) and magazines, continues to record and has a reputation as a workaholic.

In the previous year alone he has recorded and released 4 albums, including the straight up Muscle-Funk CD ("Amo el martillo caliente en mi asshole"), a personal LP of found sounds and performance art experiments ("bolas en mi barbilla"), a collection of sensitive ballads dedicated to his recently deceased mother ("¡muslos melenudos calientes!") and the sound track to the hugely successful porno movie "Shemale Finishing School 6: Pantie Instruction."

El Rocco still declines to answer questions about his sexuality.
