Introduction to me as a DVD artist

In my first entry I explained that I am returning to wrestling. In this entry, I’ll introduce the other side of me, which is producing wild videos.
I enjoy entertaining others, and fell in love with wrestling because it was a mix of magic, athleticism, acting and everything else. While at school, I was unable to do it, so was always trying to find other ways to entertain. I built up a reputation for being a handful of trouble and was banned from having a camcorder. At 17, I finally got one myself and finally got a chance to lay lots of ideas to tape. The subsequent explosion of ideas resulted in such madness as 30ft bridge jumps, knocking things off shop shelves and being chased by 7 sets of security in one day. In amassing the footage, it was a necessity that I taught myself how to film, write, create, edit and otherwise produce everything on my own, including web design. This discipline and the things I was concentrating on while making the videos such as public speaking, performance, people skills (to obtain release forms for example) and a certain amount of physicality made me realise that what I had learnt would easily translate into wrestling. I began enquiring about wrestling schools to officially learn the craft. Being in the right place at the right time led me to training with the legendary Jake Roberts.
But as training went on, it didn’t replace the videomaking. The videos continue, and Laugh or Cry TV has been described as hilarious by The Sun national newspaper, written about in others and covered on BBC Radio. I produce my own DVDs, and put all the outtakes and vlogs on my YouTube page.
These blogs that I write will follow me not only training to return to wrestling, but also cover my videomaking. And, as you will find out, the two aren't necessarily all that different.
