A blind buy from Sainsbury's. A modern day Gothic chiller set in the Highlands apparently.

Will do. The cover really grabbed me with it's gold leaf text and strange looking stag on a simple white background.

One of the cheapo shops in town was having a cheapo sale

I got a job-lot of Stephen King paperbacks:
  • Misery
  • It
  • The Shining
  • 'Salem's Lot
  • Pet Sematary
  • and a hardback Christine

all for £0.50p

Read the first two chapters today - 56 pages. I like it.

It's written in an easy to read style and there's an interesting mystery which seems like it's going down the foklore / sirens route.

Motorhead and Aerosmith have already been mentioned so it's all good for me.
