I love Laymons work. I have most of these shorter stories already in those two short stories in one book but i love the artwork on the individual titles so i had to get then when they were cheap. There is one book i cant remember the name of it was the first of his books i read. It was about a lady that worked in a libery and she kept finding notes telling her to do certain thing and each task she was awarded money for her troubles. The more risk involved the more money she was given. Anyone help with the title.

Cheers man i will have to pick up a copy of it. I remember falling in love with the book straight away and Laymon has been my favourite horror author since.

To be honest, I rarely buy books new these days. A recent charity shop find hauled me 4 new Dean Koontz's for a £1. One of which was Demon Seed which I'd never seen before. I'm pretty much a slut for 70's/80's pulp horror. Guy N. Smith is a particular hero.
