What a day. A book from MTDS, and just found Lanark by Alisdair Gray, Flann O'Brien's The 3rd Policeman and a Victor annual from 1967 in the local xtian charity shop.

Have perused the annual....it contains a hi-larious strip called Gorgeous Gus, about an upper crust fitba player...and also hysterical if you happen to know anything about the game.....would love to see Mark Heap play this straight....funnier than Footballers Wives I tells ye.....cough.

Downloaded Cronenberg's debut novel, Consumed, to my Kindle. Sounds like a return to his early body horror. Insects, cannibalism, strange sex and characters with strange names. Sounds a hoot.

That's a definite pick up from me as well. Not as an e-book though. I need a beautiful hardback of this one.
