Reading A Scanner Darkly at the minute and very good it is too! Not a huge fan of sci-fi novels but Philip K Dick's are hugely imaginative and readable. Might check out the animated film version when I've finished since it can be picked up for 1p + P&P from Amazon.

Not a book bought recently but looking forward to picking up Xerox Ferox a 500-page compendium of vintage Horror fanzines. I suspect this will have an American bias but I love old fanzines... Coming mid-September.

I'm glad you like a bit of Dick! I've never been able to get on with him! I tried a few times in the 70s and 80s.

It's very good (the film). I'm a fan of the book too, and the best thing about the film is how faithful it is. It works really well being animated (or rotoscoped).
