Pity.

Obviously you'll have to go out and buy an Uhura costume.

The inspector will be most insistent.

You can make a Uhura costume and accessories:

The only thing you will need to buy are the fetishistic high heel knee boots - just send me a PM, and I'll tell you the best places to go for them!

Picked up this old book from a Shetler charity shop.

"The strange case of Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde", printed along with "The story of a lie".

Only 50p. I don't know what year it was printed, but there's a couple of catalog pages at the back advertising other books by the same printer or publisher for 1 shilling 6 pence.

Nice find Mucky. I love old slightly weathered copies like that.

Yeah, it's a wee belter. I don't normally look at the really old books like this one, cause they're often pretty obscure titles. I don't know what prompted me to this time, but I came away happy!

Somewhat different to the usual array of comics, Dave.

Yeah. Added some more history books to reading pile. I read so many comics that I really have to make time to read books on my other interests.
I have to grab anything to do with The Crusades and the Knights Templar in particular.

The Forgotten Voices range of books are recommended reading if anyone is interested in WWII. The last one I read was the D-Day book.
This one on The Holocaust is going to be horrific reading but I have been looking at it for a long while.

Now all I need is about a year off to read everything.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I have many, many books which I want to read before resuming my studies in January, but have to find time when I'm not working or watching films/TV shows to concentrate on 'fun' reading.
