While I'm not particularly knowledgeable on Ligotti, he's a horror writer, mainly short stories from what I can tell. I believe he's considered a modern author of weird fiction but the two stories I've read so far are more in line with traditional horror. Very good though nonetheless.

It's the Penguin Classics edition edition with Dead Dreamer and Grimscribe. I don't know if it's a Crowley cover.

That's even better ... you see the progression etc.
The HB Grimmscribe I got from the library had a cover featuring a portrait of someone resembling Crowley ....

Enjoy both!!

Oh dear, more stuff to collect. Now i'm collecting video game guides for no other reason than they look nice!

This one is for Fable III apparently.

Went to vote in local election....the golf club is the polling station etc. Every time I've gone, there's always a pile of books by the door. This time I glance at them and clock Breeding Ground by Shaun Hutson (tis a Slugs sequel!!! ), not in the best nick...but still. So decided to have a proper look and came away with a rather better condition To The Devil A Daughter in a red imitation leather cover
This will be my first Wheatley tbh...the Pan covers always scared me as a bairn

That's probably from the collection released by Heron Books. Apparently they published all of his books in about a 70 volume set all in faux leather.

You've only got 69 more to get!
