After getting the rather brilliant McQueen's Machines: The Cars and Bikes of a Hollywood Icon, just ordered another by Matt Stone,McQueen's Motorcycles: Racing and Riding with the King of Cool.

Can't recommend this enough.
Along with Thrower's Nightmare USA,Alan Jones's tome is a must for anyone who loves their exploitation movies.
Roll on the next FrightFEST GUIDE!

To be truthful i don't really mind books being a bit old and battered. Suggests they were worthwhile. Which this cracker really is. I really like Lansdales writing, I'll have to pick some more stuff up.

I buy a fair amount from Amazon marketplace sellers Wordery and Book Depository and they've just pulled a fast one, so a heads up. Both those sellers are now quoting 'free delivery' on their books. As i have a number of their books in my basket, i notice that they've increased the price of the books by about £3.50 each. Normal postage for books is £2.80 - so their 'free delivery' actually includes adding the postage price plus about 50-70p to the cost of their goods on top of that.

Just a heads up for bargain-hunters.
