Picked up the Mammoth Book of Slasher Movies from the Works for 99p. Looks fairly comprehensive, covering some genuinely obscure titles however, the back cover says it covers everything 'from Zombie Flesh Eaters to 28 Days Later', neither of which I would consider as slasher films. Looks a bargain at the price though...

Yours truly snapped up a copy for the same price too and it's not a bad book especially for the price but i have better tomes on the subject. If you check the top corners of each page you'll notice the heading 'An A-Z Of Slasher And Splatter Movies' so why the book wasn't titled the same mystifies me.

There's also a fair few errors within the tome's pages. I mean, to the best of my knowledge Chuck Norris doesn't star in Tourist Trap!

Ian Pattison's Lyttleton's Britain, which is a collection of Chairman Humph's introductions when ISIHAClue went on "tour" before he passed away. Jack Dee may have the ennui down pat, but the Humph could really sound despairing....which added to the funny.......

The Coren book was also in my Poundland (going there shortly!!) so maybe. Toilet seat brackets first though ahem.....

They may seem random choices but they are all linked in mysterious ways, especially the two Boyle books!
