I've only been skimming thru it but I picked up this hefty and beautiful looking tome in recent weeks. Here's my copy artfully posing alongside Christian Wolmar's book The Subterranean Railway, a fine history of the London Underground... See what I did there ? I won't be tucking into this for a while yet so it should give me enough time to finally see the 1979 Quatermass....

I picked up a pb today ... the tagline did the trick

"Visions of BLOOD LUST danced in his head!!!"

Maniac by Stuart Freeman. It's dedicated to his wife ... 'as always'
Justin101 and bleakshaun like this.

I don't think I've read any of the books either, but I have listened to Stephen Fry reading most of them (a superb way to use an Audible credit), and they are masterful pieces of detective fiction.
