What do you think of Legacy of Blood Phill?

I found it too spoiler heavy, and somewhat repetitive.
Trying to find good points in some of the worst slashers ever made....

Whereas SEE NO EVIL is one of the most interesting film books I've ever read.

Legacy bored me too! Ha. I wasn't a fan of the authors writing style, wasy too fanboy for its own good.

See No Evil and Critical Vision are excellent reads though. See No Evil is ratehr large though! ha ha. It's taking me facking ages! I've re-read Let The Right One In 3 times since starting that book!!

the best one i have is the big 'book of the dead', insanely informative, also fangoria's 101 movies you've never seen is a good read along with dvd delirium vol 1 - 3 and then the usual guide books like halliwells, virgin, and leonard maltin's film guide. another good horror reference book is the essential Horror. has sections of argento, Bava, Romero and carpenter to name but a few.

I have Book of the Dead and it's superb.

Phil what did you think of Sweet & Savage? I thought it was ok but i felt the author was a bit in love with Jacopetti.

Fascinating. What the UK authorities did back in the day would put the CIA to shame.

BOOK OF THE DEAD?
FANTASTIC.The definitive guide to zombie movies to date.
Well illustrated, tons of artwork, wittily written and honest.
A top read.
