I spotted this on Amazon and thought it may be of interest to some members.

The definitive guide to the decade when swinging London was the film capital of the world. Illustrated throughout with colour images, Psychedelic Celluloid covers over 300 British and European films and TV shows from the Beatles via Bond spin offs to crazy personal follies de grandeur, Blow Up and its imitators, concert movies, documentaries, stylish horror films and many more. Carefully researched and drawing on interviews with some of the survivors of the era, it provides a witty and detailed account of each major production, listing its stars, directors, producers and music and showing how they were linked to the fashion and trends of the period.

"What is Flexi Binding?

Flexi binding is a popular binding style which sits between a paperback binding and a hardback binding. The case or cover is generally made with paperback cover stock which is folded over and separate ends applied. It's a highly desirable and robust binding which combines techniques and features of both paperback and cased binding alike

Flexi binding uses

Traditionally used for Bibles, flexi binding has had an enormous resurgence in popularity in the past few years and we have seen it creeping into many travel and cookery books, to name just a few.

The 'flexibility' (pun intended) of the merged cover styles means you are open to a whole range of new materials and options that are just not available on a paperback, without incurring the full cost of hardback binding.

Endpapers and head and tail bands can be added and you can also use a range of materials from leather to cloth and the imitations thereof, as well as PUs and rubbers - and everything inbetween.

A flexi book feels 'right' to handle and feels somehow more user friendly than a hardback, but has higher perceived value than a paperback binding."

Really nice book. Good photos of costumes and weapons and awesome concept art. Comes with a reproduction photographic negative of the team photo used in Wonder Woman and Superman v Batman.
