Interesting, Les yeux sans visage is on the cover. I mentioned in my review that i felt it harked back to classic Universal mad doctor movies.

Seems i'm not alone.

He makes a real distinction between what was made in the 50's,and how the decade has never been bested in the dumb ass sci-fi stakes or fantasy genre in general,he's hardcore he doesn't go running to mommy just because the effects are a bit shonky or there's a giant rubber hand on view...
