Horror Magazines

Interesting thread as I'm a real fan of horror movie magazines.

There are now two new UK horror magazines "Shock Horror Magazine" and "Scream the Horror Magazine".

"Shock Horror" issue one is already on sale for £3 from some specialist stores and from the shockhorrormag website.

"Scream" issue 1 is on sale in October and looks potentially an interesting mix of classic and modern horror.

My current favourites are "Rue Morgue" (expensive but worth it) and a US mag called "Screem", which covers a lot of unusual cult films.

SCREAM is also offering their publication online as well.
RUE MORGUE is also doing this

I wish there were more regular horror mags out there, so these two should be worth checking out.

I'm currently buying the reprinted back issues of Little Shoppe Of Horrors

Thanks!! Yeah, House of Hammer really was an awesome magazine. It totally turned me on to horror when I was a kid and I'm now lucky enough to own every issue!!

According to Allan Bryce in the latest issue of DVD & Blu-Ray World next month sees the return of The Dark Side to our shelves!

Is that issue 88? I had another look and couldn't find any mention of Darkside starting.
