I read that a while back, it seemed to get a little dry after a while. Good for reading in short bursts though.

I'm not reading anything at the moment, but have pre-ordered The Night Eternal, the third in the trilogy following The Strain and The Fall.

You won't regret it as it's a thoroughly entertaining and informative read about what it's really like to be a jobbing actor rather than a Hollywood A list star. Furthermore, it's written with real wit and intelligence by someone who's worked in the most bizarre circumstances and the stuff about his childhood with the Raimi brothers is really good.

Actually, I feel like reading it again!

Kenneth Grant's "Outer Gateways". Occultism from the outer limits of madness. Even in the weird and wonderful world of occult writings, Grant's work is so far from anything else it's like tripping with a psychedelic Lovecraft whilst being buggered by snakes as Crowley looks on and laughs.

Especially if a zombie has bitten it off for you.

..............

Just finished reading Hazel Court. Horror Queen.

A charming and warm autobiography from the Hammer legend. I regret not reading it on a cold winters night, or sat by the Christmas tree as her friendly style of prose would fit those enviroments beautifully.

Full of gorgeous photo's of Hazel throughout her career its a must read for any fan of Hammer or the lady herself.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (yeah, I know, I can hardly believe it either!) by Ms. Rowling (J.K. to her friends)
The Mystery of the Whispering Mummy (Alfred Hitchcock and the Three Investigators)
Prince Caspian (The Chronicles of Narnia) by C.S. Lewis
The Secret Garden by Francis Hodgson Burnett

Perhaps thankfully, I'm also still ploughing my way through Marquis de Sade: A Biography by Maurice Lever, just in case you were thinking that Wragg had gone all sappy on you.
