Got a couple of books from the library this afternoon, The Harrowing by Alexandra Sokoloff and the Dracula sequel Dracula, The Un-Dead by Dacre Stoker. Started on the latter this evening and I only got 2 pages in when I spotted a massive error, apparently Carfax Abbey is in Whitby not near London as claimed in Bram Stoker's original. Surely the author has read his Great-uncles novel!

Nice one and a typically terrific Brian Bolland cover there.

It is very silly and it's about time I gave it a reread too.

I'm currently reading Scrivener's Moon the latest in Philip Reeves' Mortal Engines books.

Dune is only £2 in HMV at the moment, so it's probably about time I gave that a read!

Yeh. There's a London Library Consortium website. You go on find the book you want and then they send it to your local branch, so you often have a pretty good chance of getting what you want.

Just read the first chapter, which was all about the young P-Orridge - enlightening and entertaining stuff so far.

yes, the photos are a revelation, enjoy!!

currently reading The Whisperer in Darkness by HPL, one of the few stories i hadnt read, i can see WHY the HPLHS decided to make this as their next film, its classic Lovecraft, within a few pages youre immersed in a world thats very grounded and at the same time very unreal....and of course the protagonist is a rational man who cant see the shrieking terror in front of his face until its too late....
