Read Morningstar, interesting read, just could've been played more subtle.

Memoirs Of A Geezer by Jah Wobble. Easy to read and it's bit mair self aware than our Rod (our? Nae Scot calls it SCOTCH ahem ). If all you know of John is that Visions Of You ... then I recommend it.

Reading The Black Dahlia by James Ellroy for the second time after finding it (and LA Confidential) in a charity shop for the princely sum of 50p each.

Brilliant, brilliant book.

One worth checking out for sure.
Now reading Morningstar.

G.R.R. Martin's short stories have always been great. The first short story of his that I read, even before his "Beauty and the Beast" TV series, was called "Sandkings". It was amazing! Anyone who wants to know what the "Hype" is about Martin should seek out "Sandkings" it will immediately prove that there is no "Hype"!

Sandkings is fantastic, as is nightflyers. I will say I did have to skip the 2 screenplays, just not a big fan of reading in that format. Going to have get the wild card books.

Finished Dreamsongs volume 2, again a great read with some fantastic tales, as I mentioned the wild card stories are great, but a fave has to be unsound variations.
Now demoncrat, reading the naked lunch.

Art Sex Music / Cosey Fanni Tutti (F&F pb)

What with this and the COUM/TG book Wreckers Of Civillisation, I now have more or less a 'complete' picture of this period ...Sleazy never wrote anything (that I know of .... England's Hidden Reverse focuses mainly on Coil ... and is a bit po faced in places due to Keenan's snobbery ) ... and I personally would take any Gen tome with a bag of salt.
I am at the point where the 4 of them have met, and much like Viv Albertine's book, it is incredibly honest.
So as far as I can work out the only difference twixt TG and Fleetwood Mac was the subject matter
Regardless I will be digging out TG24/TGV at some point
