Just finished Mark Kermode's 'It's Only A Movie'. Excellently entertaining book overall. Well worth a read.

Presently reading Kenneth Grant's "Outside the Circles of Time".

For a funny and insightful look at Grant's work, this article by Alan Moore is a must.Kenneth & Steffi Grant *ยง* Beyond our Ken: a review of 'Against the Light: A Nightside Narrative' by Alan Moore

Have started the second volume of Micheal Sheard's memoirs ("Yes, Admiral"), should be a hoot, mainly concerning his time spent at sci fi conventions....

E-book SWORDS FOR A DEAD LADY.

Swords for a Dead Lady eBook: Jim Webster: Amazon.co.uk: Books

stuck a thread elsewhere but just felt it needed a nod. Anyone familiar with dying earth rpg sysytem will recognise the name jim webster, and the story is very 'vancian'.

Thought i'd mentioned this before, so to update....finished his 3rd volume "Yes, School's Out" which continues "Bronson"'s adventures in convention land, a great read and printed in nearby Elgin (well, nearby to me any road hem hem) which is nice.

Currently rerereading Burroughs' The Ticket That Exploded, one of the "cut-up" trilogy, still some fantastic imagery but not a great place to start for people who only know Bill from his standout performance in Drugstore Cowboy cough cough

Im not a big fan on reading books etc but do particular like to read books based on random and bizarre things plus books with shory stories based on true stories like worlds worst serial killers or ghost stories or wierd but true facts etc etc, Anyhow last week was my birthday and my son bought me 1001 ridiculous ways to die book based of the sky series.
