Oh i'm applying for management jobs, non management jobs, I'm beefing up my skills with training. Just got an ITQ1 and going on to do level 2 through free courses from the job centre with a look to leaving the retail game all together. Shame really as in spite of some of the more aggrevating parts of the job I really enjoyed doing it, especially working in Blocky where I really had a passion for what I was doing. It just seems that a lot of retail is a case of the younger the better. Also i'm stuck in a part of the world where jobs are thin on the ground, so I have to apply for whatever is going.

Vogue - The Editor's Eye

Don't let the title fool you. The book is indeed about the editors of Vogue USA, that's right. However, how would you portray an editor's contribution to a Fashion magazine? Yes, you're right. You'd pick picture spreads, taken by different photographers under the aegis of the respective editor (all female). There's also some background information on each editor - very nice to read.

If you're at least slightly interested in Fashion Photography, I highly recommend this book to you. Great print quality, big size, fantastic pictures.

PS: Yes, that's Rooney Mara on the cover!

Wasn't feeling too good last night and didn't get much sleep. But it did mean I picked up Stephen Kings The Cell and started re-reading it for the first time since I originally purchased it.

Just started reading "Fantastic Four: Authoritative Action" and already it's getting quite "peachy!" I'm not normally a "FF" reader, haven't read any since I was about 16, but I'm wading my way through the "Ultimate Marvel Graphic Novels" part-work selection and up to now there have been no "fillers". I s'pose they don't call 'em "ultimate" f' nothing!
