I agree, the Necroscope books are fantastic.
I'm currently re-reading Bruce Campbell's autobiography-If Chins Could Kill:Confessions of a B Movie Actor, well worth a read for fans of his

I've tried reading Lovecraft and failed miserably for years. Now I've found that there are two volumes of graphic novels adapted from his work and I will try them soon. BTW there is a strong Lovecraftian theme running through "Nemo: Heart of Ice" by Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neil, it is a slim volume but worth a look as it comes out of the tremendous "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen".
